Finding Freedom to Operate (FTO) on STNext
A Freedom to Operate (FTO) search is one of the fundamental approaches that all Intellectual Property searchers must master. A FTO search combines a comprehensive search of in-force or pending claims text in the geographic jurisdiction of interest with a confirmation of active legal status.
