Overview

The PIUG Northeast Conference brings together experts in the areas of chemistry, biology, other sciences, engineering, and legal topics relating to patent information. It is an excellent forum to learn and share best practices regarding a specific process in searching and retrieving patent information. Vendors will be available to discuss their expertise and products. The key objective of this meeting is to provide opportunities for learning, networking and professional development.

Early Bird registration – no later than September 11, 2015.
No refund will be given if the request is received after 11:59 pm EDT Sunday, September 20, 2015. Prior to that date, an administrative fee of 10% will be charged and 90% of the funds will be refunded.
Per the sponsorship table for 2015, only Platinum sponsorship includes one free registration. Please see the Sponsorship Benefits page for details.

Hotel

The The Heldrich Hotel in New Brunswick, NJ, is 4 blocks from the NJ Transit train station and NJ Transit bus line. See the travel page for more information on getting to the conference site.

Room rates

The hotel offers a room rate of $179 per room during the conference and up to one days before and one day after depending on room availability: arrive as early as Sunday, October 11 and depart as late as Thursday, October 15, 2015. All rates are per room/night and are subject to 7% New Jersey Sales Tax and 8% Hotel Occupancy Tax.

The cutoff date for conference reservations rate is September 20, 2015.

The hotel policy is 4:00 pm check-in and noon check-out and to provide storage space for guests who arrive early or depart after the requested check-out time with advance notice.

Hotel reservations

Go to the The Heldrich.com and select the CHECK AVAILABILITY link. Select Group Reservation, located along the top of the screen. Input your Attendee Code 274883 and then click the UPDATE Button. This will bring you to the PIUG reservations page, listing some general information about your group meeting and the hotel. Input your Arrival and Departure Dates and the number of guests and then click Continue. Select your preferred Bed Type, fill in the appropriate Information Fields, and then click Submit. If you require telephone assistance with your reservation, please call +1 866-609-4700 between 8:00 am and 8:pm Eastern time and give the reservation agent Attendee Code 274883 to secure your reservation.
