Overview

The PIUG Northeast Conference brings together experts in the areas of chemistry, biology, other sciences, engineering, and legal topics relating to patent information. It is an excellent forum to learn and share best practices regarding a specific process in searching and retrieving patent information. Vendors will be available to discuss their expertise and products. The key objective of this meeting is to provide opportunities for learning, networking and professional development.

Early Bird registration – no later than August 26 2016.
No refund will be given if the request is received after 11:59 pm EDT Sunday, September 4, 2016. Prior to that date, an administrative fee of 10% will be charged and 90% of the funds will be refunded.

Hotel

The Renaissance Woodbridge Hotel in Iselin, NJ, is 2 miles NW from Metro Park Train Station and Metro Park Station for the bus lines. Complimentary shuttle service is available from either place to and from the hotel. See the travel page for more options to get to the conference site. The hotel has complimentary parking available on site as well.

Room rates

The hotel offers a room rate of $159 per room during the conference and up to one days before and one day after depending on room availability: arrive as early as Sunday, September 25 and depart on Wednesday, September 28, 2016. If a later departure date is needed, the rate may be extended depending on hotel room availability so inquire with the hotel early. All rates are per room/night and are subject to 7% New Jersey Sales Tax and 8% Hotel Occupancy Tax.

The cutoff date for conference reservations rate is Thursday, August 25, 2016 so be sure to register for your room early.

The hotel policy is 4:00 pm check-in and 11:00 am check-out and to provide storage space for guests who arrive early or depart after the requested check-out time with advance notice.
