Patent Information Users Group, Inc.

PIUG is an organization run largely by dedicated volunteers and is able to continue and thrive thanks to all of you – our members and sponsors.  Our mission is to support, assist, improve & enhance the success of patent information professionals through leadership, education, communication, advocacy and networking.  We as a Board, partnering with our functional committees, will keep our mission at the forefront and strive to increase member benefits.  First priority is to look at our conference structure & determine what will work best for the organization going forward.  Things that we’re discussing range from:  how many conferences a year should we support, what should the length of those conferences be, what format should the conferences be presented in – virtual, in-person, hybrid.  We would love to hear your thoughts - we welcome all constructive feedback & suggestions – please reach out and speak up!
