Searching Combination Sets in CPC

Abstract:

The CPC allows allocation of a combination of symbols as a single classification, referred to as Combination Sets (C-Sets), in certain CPC subclasses. C-Sets classification is a special classification technique, providing a mechanism for searching combined features that are otherwise not easy to find by single symbols, resulting in more precise and efficient retrieval of technical information from CPC. The workshop will provide the most updated information about C-Sets classification, including how to find C-Sets information from the CPC scheme and how to use C-Sets for prior art search.

Hands-on Exercises will be included so it is recommended to bring your laptop or  tablet to maximize your experience and training.
