I realize that I have been very quiet lately and I apologize. There have been lots of emails with the "highlights" so I sort of felt redundant. I hope all of you are safe at home. Ironically, I was slated to travel more in 2020 than I usually do. We managed to reschedule the annual conference for October 12-16 and I am hoping that it will still be possible and that I will see many of you there.
Because of the reschedule, we will need to have a virtual business meeting. We have it scheduled for May 13 at 11 am Eastern Time. That should allow most people to join. We will be sending out WebEx information soon but I wanted everyone to get it on your calendar. I am sure that we are all getting better at virtual meetings and I hope you will join us and hear what PIUG accomplished in 2019 and hopes to accomplish in 2020 and give us your help and feedback.
It was an election year, I am pleased to announce that the new board for 2020-2022 will be Shelley Pavlek, chair; Kim Miller, vice chair; Leah Sandvoss, secretary; Malcolm Hallam, treasurer; Victoria Smith, director-at-large; Ron Kaminecki, director-at-large; Martha Yates, immediate past chair.
Thank you very much to our retiring board members Rosie Lindquist, Heather Simmons and Elliott Linder. It was a pleasuring serving with you and I appreciate everything that you have done for PIUG.
Hopefully I will see you all at the annual conference and we can recognize our service award winners and our departing board members and other award winners. Stay safe and stay in touch.
Regards,
@MarthaYates
