STN is running the following e-Seminars in April 2020 -

Title: Quick Start with STNext^®

Abstract: We will begin this e-seminar with an online tour through STNext: from file management, to your settings, the various tabs and as well the STNext structure editor. After we have seen the meain features of STNext, we will do an ad-hoc structure search in two databases, remove duplicates and create a short report.
This e-Seminar is geared toward all STN searchers who want to get an overview of the functionalities of STNext.

Title: Added Value in Full-text Patent Files

Abstract: STN has a large collection of first-level, full-text patent databases in addition to our familiar value-added indexed files. This e-seminar will cover the benefits of using these full-text databases to make your searches more comprehensive. We will feature the types of value-added data that STN lends to full-text files such as the new key terms search options and the search for numeric properties. We will also demonstrate using full-text files to supplement an existing search in the Derwent World Patents Index and CAplus, for more comprehensive recall of results.
