Title: The Derwent World Patents IndexTM on STN® - An Overview of the Value-Added Information and Features (Part 1)
Abstract: The Derwent World Patents Index (aka DWPI on STN) is a world-class value-added patent family database, produced by Clarivate Analytics. The database includes many unique data points with specific search options on STN, which will be covered in this e-Seminar and in part two. This session will cover explain all of the value-added features that are available on STN for the Derwent non-subscribers and subscribers alike:
• Derwent enhanced titles
• Derwent generated abstracts
• Derwent classes
• Derwent engineering and electrical & electronic manual codes
• Derwent chemistry resource indexing (aka DCR)
• First-level data
• Numeric Property Searching
This e-Seminar is geared towards newer DWPI searchers and those experienced searchers that would like a refresher on these value-added features.
Part two will cover features that only Derwent subscribers have access to.
