STN is continuing the STN Coffee Lecture series with two sessions in February 2022. These webinars contain concise, easily understandable information on various aspects of STN commands, interfaces or specific databases and are about 10 minutes in length. Title: Derwent fragmentation codes – Part 1: The Derwent fragmentation generator comes to STNext®!
Abstract: The Derwent fragmentation generator has been added to the STNext platform. This coffee lecture will show you the new navigation how to create scripts from the generator, and how to edit and run those scripts as well as tips to consider when drawing the structure. This session is for all Derwent fragmentation codes searchers, regardless of skill level.

STN is also running one e-Seminar in February -
Title: Enhanced GENESEQ (aka DGENE), USGENE and PATGENE (aka PCTGEN) on STNext
Abstract: The sequence searchable databases GENESEQ, USGENE and PATGENE have been reloaded on STNext. This e-Seminar will discuss the improvements to the databases as a result of these reloads, including incorporating the latest BLAST and GETSIM algorithms, additional BLAST search options, and changes in BLAST displays for peptide searches. Additional information pertaining to the makeup of the sequences will also be discussed. This e-Seminar is geared towards all STNext sequence searchers, regardless of skill level.
