Title: Ferrying a Drug into a Tumor Cell Using Specific Immunoconjugates
Abstract: Immunoconjuagtes, also known as antibody drug conjugates (ADCs), are an emerging class of biopharmaceutical drugs designed for targeted cancer therapy. Unlike chemotherapy alone, those drugs are intended to target and kill tumor cells while sparing healthy cells.
ADCs are generally composed of a targeting antibody linked to a cytotoxic payload or drug. CAS REGISTRYSM, CAplusSM, DWPI and other STNext databases offer unique advantages for searching these hybrid complexes: broad coverage of sequences and chemical information, plus subject indexing. In this webinar we will uncover the different indexing approaches and also provide best practices for dealing with these challenging searches on STNext.
