Hello, everyone.
This is directed at folks in Illinois. I am part of the Illinois Intellectual Property Alliance (ILIPA). We are a fairly new organization with a mission to serve the statewide intellectual property ecosystem in Illinois. The Alliance connects inventors and creators, protectors of IP, and those who facilitate the use of the IP in business, as products and services, and cultural additions to Illinois and beyond. In building this network, the Alliance is bringing together members of the ecosystem who represent all areas of the ecosystem, both geographically in Illinois and by industry. The Alliance’s founders and current members include attorneys, leaders in academia, entrepreneurs, inventors, directors of incubators, business leaders, financiers, and others.
More information about the Alliance and its activities is available on our website (https://www.ilipalliance.org/). You will also find the committees we have organized, the productive board members, events and activities of the organization, resources available to the public, and a calendar of IP events that might be of interest to various parts of our ecosystem.
I am interested in talking with you more about the Alliance to explore the possibility that you may consider joining our efforts in some capacity, particularly as a member of our Ecosystem Leadership Board. Alliance members have no financial commitment at any level and we invite you to fill out the membership form at the website so that you may receive email announcements of programs and events.
If you have any questions or would like additional information, please feel free to contact me. Also, if you know of anyone in Illinois that may find this of interest please forward this and give them my name.
Regards
