Welcome back to Boston for the sixth annual PIUG Biotechnology Meeting! This national meeting focuses on methodologies and resources for patent information professionals who specialize in biotechnology search and analysis. This year’s theme is Competitive Intelligence: Meeting Current Challenges in Biotechnology.

New tools, or new uses for old tools, are needed to investigate competitors in biotechnology. Challenges include transforming patent data on biotech targets into strategic knowledge for decision making and monitoring the competition to keep up with new biotechnologies.
