The GenomeQuest Discover browser can aid in preparing and reporting prioritized data through filtering, annotation of key items, and specific sorts that present the data in an organized fashion. For example, there may be interest in assessing the current status of an antibody, and whether or not it may go off patent. Preparing a report for legal analysis that clearly indicates the priority data can be critical. This can be challenging, particularly for older IP that can return hundreds of thousands of hits.
We will review some of the techniques and interfaces to prepare reports, including a search of six antibody CDR sequences. These techniques can be applied in other areas as well.
